About Us

The Harris County High School Republicans is a conservative student organization committed to fostering a new generation of principled, right-leaning leaders. Dedicated to promoting traditional values, free-market principles, and patriotic ideals, the group provides a platform for middle and high school students to engage in political discourse, grassroots activism, and leadership development. Through meetings, podcast, interviews, and community initiatives, the organization seeks to educate and empower young conservatives to advocate for their beliefs both in their schools and beyond. By encouraging civic involvement and political engagement, the Harris County High School Republicans aim to shape the future of conservatism and ensure that the next generation is equipped to uphold and defend the values of limited government, individual liberty, and personal responsibility.

As a general member in this organization, you would be informed of all events that we have/attend. You will be expected to do some work but not as much as our executive board, we have many committees that you can join in case you are interested in stuff like outreach, designing, and creating social media post. There are 3 general board positions that work under the Communications Director including, Social Media Director, Programs Director, and Outreach Director. The Social Media Director assist the Communications Director with social media post and editing, however all post must be approved by the Communications Director or Vice-Chair. The Programs Director helps the Communications Director manage emails and helps contact other organizations, they also assist the Social Media Director. And lastly, the Outreach Director helps the Communications Director with recruitment and retention.

In this organization, the chairman decides everything that goes on. Of course he needs at least half of the executive boards vote, but the chairman is able to call attention to orders, adjourn meetings, and assign new roles for the executive board. The Vice Chairman assists the chairman and mentors the Communications Director and Treasurer. The Communications Director is in charge of all social media posts, all HCHSR accounts, this website, editing and filming our podcast, and recruitment and retention. The Secretary assists the Chairman and Vice Chairman in meetings and what ever task they need done, during these meetings they take notes on all important topics discussed.
